Blogging's so last last year I know but at least there's not word restrictions!

This post shall be a short one to spruce up this page a little. I'm not writing GP essays like how I use to. Too grandmother-ish.

I've been thinking all this while. In fact, I've been thinking too much, far too much. I like to think but thinking gets you no where. It's doing that determines what you think and where you're going. Okay, I have no idea what I'm saying.

But my main gist of the story is here;

Somehow, in my train of thoughts, Chicken Little appeared. If you've watched that show before, you would know that the little chick has a very worrisome character. This led to the conclusion that he and I have many things in common.

- We're both "chickens"

Him, literally. Me, zodiacally (if there is even such a word).

- Procrastination links us both.

I'm not very sure about him but, yeah I do, a hell lot.

- We're both full of worries!

He's worries that the sky comes crashing down. I worry that the sky comes crashing down at the intensity 100000 times his. *drama moment*

- Both of us talk alot but left unheard.

Sucks to be us.

Though I keep saying I'm shy at times.

*so embarrassing!*

- Green striped shirt.

I'm in for striped shirts.

(But not for orange shorts)

- Has a few great friends!

My memory's failing me. Old already.

- Has haters

Was it a dog or a fox?

Shall call it the foxy looking dog.

One thing for sure, there is bound to be a few spoilers in life.

But to hell you go. Too insignificant for me to bother.

Having said that, gosh I do have loads of issues.

I’m sorry for not updating in a thousand years. 2009 has been very very busy due to O’s and stuff and it seems to get busier and busier everyday. Today’s the supposingly official day where the “hell” gates of school reopen but where was I? Sleeping at home.

The feeling’s just wrong, so weird.

Having been to school for the past 14 years, everyday’s mundane. 615 the alarm rings and I’ll carry that “can I don’t go to school” feeling with me. Now that there’s no school, I WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL!

Oh well, that’s why people say

“you’ll start to cherish only when it’s lost”.

1 month left before school starts (supposingly I go into a JC) and a matter of a week till results day. I am NOT looking forward to that day, though I’m excited about receiving my yearbook. I hope results day won’t be a spoiler (fingers crossed). Let’s just hope the Cambridge markers got too disturbed by the financial crisis last year that they marked our scripts haphazardly and leniently. What’s done has been done and we can’t change it.

LIFE MUST GO ON!

Anyway, here’s wishing all a HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR!

Prelim 1B is finally over, yet I don't really feel it.

Why? That's because there is still Prelim 2 and the BIG O's.

Don't really want to get back the results and I don't want to wake up so early for school tomorrow!

Come to think of it, I actually prefer prelims instead of normal school days.

School ends at 3:20pm almost everyday! while prelims end as early as 9am!

Just wish the next 4 months will zoom off quickly!

Anyway went bowling with 4A peeps today.

Had a great time today.

It has been so long since we've gone bowling.

I Dreamt a Dream...

Last night,
I dreamt a dream... that I would never want to dream of again.

I think you'll be rolling on the floor laughing after you've listened to my story

I don't know when the dream came into my mind. I think it was in the morning, while some people were doing their AMATHS paper, and while I was still sound asleep (not being sarcastic).

MDM YONG CAME INTO MY DREAM!

I didn't meet her in school or anything, guess what, I met her at my backyard!
As crazy as it sound, yes, she just magically appeared at my backyard.

I was doing the dishes when she reminded me that there was HCL lesson this afternoon and that she was going to go through some mock paper. She stressed that attendace was compulsary or else I'll be expelled from her class.

She said something like "Don't you think you don't have amaths exam, so you don't have to go to school. HCL still resumes. If you don't come today, I have to ask you to drop HCL."

I was totally stunned.
Then, I jolted out from my sleep.

I looked at the clock - 10:15am

The funny part was that I actually sms-ed yongkian to confirm.

I must have missed CHINESE... (weird)

Oh well, I won't say that it's a bad thing/nightmare/horror (not as if Mdm Yong's that sort), but it did stun me.

YES, I'm back after being MIA for about a month.

I'm not sure if its for long, but the main thing is I'm still here.

It's three quarter's through my Prelim 1B (2 more mcq papers to go!)

and it so happens that I have no paper tomorrow (while the others do), which also means that I don't have to go to school!

It has been such a long time since I used the computer with such freedom and carefree-ness, not having to worry for exams and homework!

The past few days has been like hell seriously!

The content is really too filling for me to stomach.

Oh well, the main bulk of the papers are over (not officially until the 12th of Nov)...

So being free from studying today,

I decided to revamp my blog.

I seriously think my name's rather, or very unique. I did a facebook search "Lim Hwai Yi" and there's only me, myself and I shown in the results.

The closest to my name was "Lim Hwan Yi"

I googled my name and found no Hwai Yi's around except for ME :)

#2 Disney Land

HELLO EVERYONE

Day 2 in Hong Kong.
The weather here is just as bad as Singapore.
(comparable)

Went to Disney Land today and was quite disappointed.
The whole theme park was so small and the rides were seriously for children only!
The so called 'most scary' ride was the Space Mountain.
I don't think it was even scary!!!!!
The drops and turns of the ride "Alpha 8" in Escape is much more thrilling than the Space Mountain.

Oh well,
at least I've been to Disney Land before!

I can say that school this week was a total bummer

The week started off with 3 tests on Monday

and guess what,

My bag got stolen on Wednesday by some kuku heads.

Retrieved my bag

however,

My electronic dictionary and 2 thumbdrives went missing.

I guess those peeps wanted to search for handphones, unfortunately, I'm a good Kranjian who does not bring my mobile to school.

Although they could not go for the BIG fish, they had no choice but to go for the small and cheapskate stuffs, so as to not make their "effort" wasted.

That's too bad

I'm not sad or anything

I just feel so SORRY for these people who lack integrity

I wonder why they would stoop so low to do such stuffs?

What has the society done to these people?

What will they gain from stealing people's stuff?

Maybe stealing a phone may get them some money, but c'mon, stealing a dictionary and thumdrives?

Not as if I'm edison chen or anything? Even if there's nude pictures inside, who would want to see? -.-

As for the dictionary, I'm not sure if it's some sort of ploy created to target those who are taking their CL 'O' Levels next week. So sad they got the wrong target. FYI, I'm not taking 'O' Levels CL next week. (My inference came about when my friend from 4F found her dict missing too)

To the kuku heads who stole my, haziq's or any kranjians stuff:

If you're a sec 1 to 3, I wish you good luck.

LIFE'S DULL

I'm back

It's been 2 months since I last updated

I almost forgot my blogger password

Life's rather dull ever since the start of the year

Nothing else but study study study

Their even making us come back during the june hols for IPCs.

Mocks coming up too.

But thank GOD I've completed my CL 'O' Levels

(I'll face the doom of HCL at the end of the year)

I'm not sure if I'm studying effectively

My grades are like the stock market, going up and down

You won't know when there will be a recession

Cuz I've become boring too

That's so sad.

I did a survey on national education in school today

Did'nt really give a hoot about it

But I was just one of the unlucky ones who had to do it.

Just shaded all the 'B' (B for agree)

But one question caught my eye.

Question: Would you choose to emigrate if you had a chance to? Please state your reason.

My answer was a straight YES!

and my reason:

I dislike Singapore's education system

Seriously, I think the education system here is s***.

I don't really know how to explain things but that's my stand.

No offence to those who disagree.

If they were to add an additional question asking "Where would you like to emigrate to then?"

My answer:

I would like to emigrate to some country with a country side

I want to stay away from the busy and hectic livestyles

I just want to do something meaningful and happy

I want to study, but study things in a less stressful way

Like who in the world would apply what we study in secondary school to your future jobs?

Even a teacher can't specialise in all 9 subjects.

Imagine a Lawyer teaching Geography?

Oh well, let's succumb to fate

Nature will take its course.

For now, I have no choice but to work hard

I hope my efforts do pay off at the end of the year.

JUMP FOR JOY TO THE HEAVENS AND NEVER COME BACK!

Hello People of the world,

whether you have just finished common tests, came back from camp or whatever!

COMMON TESTS ARE FINALLY OVER!

(the excitement will eventually die off after 1 to 2 days. The real jumping will occur after the 19 Nov 2009, AFTER O LEVELS!)

Sadly, this would be our last official common test in Kranji cuz after this we won't be taken CTs anymore. The next big exam would be the start of Prelim 1A.

Kindda miss the CTs though.

Thinking back, CTs used to be one paper a week during my Sec 1 and 2 days. Than slowly it became like CA exams.

Okay, my train of thoughts have diverted into the history of common tests in kranji? T.T

Anyway, back to topic.

This common test was generally okay for most of the papers, however, as for BIOLOGY and HISTORY, I felt that I didn't perform well. So I think my results will be affected too. SADLY. For biology, the information just didn't stick in my head. Furthermore, I was sick so badly on that day I took the paper. The feeling sucks totally. And the timing of the paper made me even more sleepy. Imagine having to take 4 hours of Chinese in the morning and have a Biology paper in the afternoon when the rest (who don't take biology) are able to go home! The feeling sucks totally. However, I also like to thank the school for arranging the Biology paper on the first day as usually it would be arranged on the last day, last paper. The feeling sucks even more. While other are jumping off to the heavens, we would be still digging our heads in our textbooks outside our classrooms. The most intense and sickening period before common test is when you have over an hour before the paper starts. The feelings very very bad. The feeling's somehow like you want to get over and done with the paper, however, you find that the time is not enough for you to finish revising. So it's rather ironic.

As for history, I left one whole freaking SEQ blank! I merely wrote "I agree to a large extent to the statement.". My mind was totally blank during that time and I really didn't know what factors to come up with. I had problems infering for my SBQ as I seriously didn't know what it was all about. I just pray that a miracle would happen and that my SS would be able to pull my grades up. But I guess I'll merely scrap a pass even if my SS was okay as I know my History is confirmed fail.

Anyway, just to lighten up your moods, I shall share with you a 'highly desired' scenerio to salvage the situation of the STUPID IDIOT HISTORY PAPER:

....my phone rings (From: Emily)

me: "Hello?"

emily: "Hi Hwai Yi."

me:"Yes?"

emily:"You know about the history paper? We are being awarded 12 full marks for question 2 (the stupid militarism SEQ question that almost everyone didn't know how to do). Are you aware?"

me:"HUH? REALLY MEH? WHO SAY DE?"

emily:"me loh."

me:"*rolls eyes"

HOW I WISH THIS SCENERIO WAS TRUE!

Aye, shan't brood over things that have past.

OVER MEANS ITS OVER.

(gosh, am I starting to sound like those adam khoo trainers who go "the past is not equal to the future, the future depends on what you do today...")

Who cares, all I know is that I secured an A1 for my chemistry and a freakish 14/25 for english CT. Hope the Chem result isint a scam. If it is, I'll be fuming mad at myself. For english not too bad la, but can be better. It's like a just pass only? Not even a B3.

JIAYOU HWAIYI! YOU CAN DO IT!

Enough of Common Test business cuz I have bigger business to do...

This would be the most treasured weekend for the whole year of sec 4 before O Levels.

You know why?

We're having a 3 full day Adam Khoo workshop organised by the school which costs us a freaking 100 bucks. I don't know what we're going to learn but I heard from seniors that they are just going to make you cry to motivate yourself. I don't really see the point in that. I just hope that course is worth my time, energy and money.

or Maybe the course is beneficial and worthwhile?

No harm trying.

WOOHOO! This means we have no lessons for 3 days + 2 days of the weekend. SWEET!

So sad to the Sec 2 and 3s, after this weekend, you all have to mug for CTs!

And since it is FRIENDSHIP DAY, I created this special post to all my friends/FG/classmates/schoolmates/CCA mates/fans/blog readers out there, to thank you all for making my day wonderful everyday.

From little immature kids during sec 1, our thinking grew to be matured and I’m definitely sure our friendship has grown over the years.

Next, I would like to thank my 40 classmates from 1A’06 and 2A’07 (They are the same people) for making lower secondary school life meaningful! I will never forget the vibe and energy the class always have, no matter how dead or boring the classes were. No conflicts and stuff, truly a model class! self-praise wahaha.Althought we’re separated into clicks like the Nikar, FG and 7 Flowers, we still bonded together and were united in what we did.
I hope that we will still keep in contact even though we’re graduating this year.
Thank You for allowing me to keep pleasant memories of my sec 1 and 2 life deep in my heart.

To me, valentine's day isin't any special day for me, just a day to STUDY FOR COMMON TESTS! Maybe I've never experienced valentine's day with 'the special someone' yet, so I don't think it's that important to me. It's okay, time will tell. Anway, I already have plans. Plans to date my books and 'establish ties' with them, so that they will aid me in passing my CT!

They came at around 1 plus (it was supposed to start at 12pm). Each person brought food, ranging from fried chicken wings to jelly to snacks. I provided some fried stuffs and the most heavenly CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! We ate as we played mahjong and blackjack.

I realised that I didn't play enough of mahjong this year. I don't think I'll have anymore chances to play as CNY is already going to end. -.- But it's okay, at least i won 80 cents from playing blackjack with them (fake smiles). It is seriously darn pathetic... Wining 80 cents -.- while Edmund, the banker won $11 plus. But at least its better than loosing or not winning at all. :)

This post is rather self explainatory and I doubt if anyone would want to read my text. I think the 11 who came (minus carina and cherie) would just zoom straight for the pictures and post it on their blogs.

Sorry that carina and cherie weren't in the pictures as they left early. Hmm... why not super impose their faces there?

My 16 Years of Chinese New Year

GOOD DAY PEOPLE!

As promised, I'm bringing you a VERY SPECIAL blog post, things about my personal life you have never seen before.

Today I'm showing you my 16 YEARS OF CHINESE NEW YEAR ever since I was born on earth.

The post includes a picture of that particular year and some captions, negative or positive.

NOTE: pictures may show some levels of un-glamness but hope you'll just laugh it off. If I'm able to post them on my site, I don't think they are that bad. What is the worse thing someone can do to my face? Photoshop my face on a naked body? UHUH... can't you see "copyrighted LIMHWAIYI"...

DO ENJOY THIS POST AND THE REMAINING DAYS OF CHINESE NEW YEAR!

WOW. I don't even recall taking this photo (cuz I was 1, like duh!).As you can see in the picture, my dad and mum and me! But seriously, I don't think that fella in the picture look any bit like me... OH WELL... Things change overtime, humans change too... I think I was 4 mths old when this picture was taken as I was born in october the previous year (1993), so chinese new year is around feb... Anw, this picture was taken in my first house (where I was born) somewhere at bukit panjang... see I still remember!

OBVIOUSLY, I have grown bigger in size, with a head full with hair... I don't know what's with the grouchy face, perhaps because the "dong qiang" behind created lots of noise, so I could not stand the loud bangings, therefore resulting in me giving that bushuang face. My inference not bad ah? This picture was taken when I went to KL to celebrate CNY. Still, I don't see the HWAIYI in the picture...

Shifted into a new house near Holland Road (where my primary school is). From this picture on, I see some resemblence of HWAIYI and me. But I don't get what's with me and those cute-see puke-see outfits? Well, the fashion trend in those days? ps. I don't get to choose what I wear in those days. This is my last year being a loner as my brother was going to pop out a year later...

See the bump in my mom's stomach? Guess who? Yes indeed, my brother was on the way. I can imagine why I had that look on my face when taking this picture. I must be thinking: "Haix, I'm not able to dominate the picture with my cute smiles and expressions as I have to share the space with my brother... eeyerr... so sian. Later he cuter than me how?" (ps for broken english) Even the bush of flowers are bigger than my puinyy head. -.-

I'm totally in LOVE with this picture man! Me and my gl face, maybe considered as cute la :) and 'POP GOES THE BROTHER!' My brother has arrived onto this world to join me in taking photos during chinese new year, and to snatch my space in the photos. Even his hair is longer than mine... JEALOUS.

You must be wondering: What on earth is that lion head doing in the picture.

My answer to you: I think that was my favourite toy of that year.

But it's quite cute lah. With the bushy eye brows and the trill of sticking your head in the head of a lion. That explains the broad smiles upon my face I guess. DAMN! My brother's hair is still longer than mine!

Same venue where the photo is being taken: at my ahma's house. But this time, without the lion head, the traditional costumes and the broad smile. Just entered primary 1 I guess, so that should explain the glum-ness in the face while my brother's smiling like nobody's business just because he does not need to go to school.

The place where this photo was taken is quite meaningful, yet funny. It was at the Singapore Zoo. Who in the right state of mind would go to the zoo to celebrate CNY? Go bai nian with those monkeys and elephants arh... Maybe me, that explains the smile back on my face. I somehow find that my emotions fluctuates greatly over the years, with one year smiling and one year being grouchy. WOW. I knew how to EMO when I was so young.... Back in the traditional costumes again...

Back at grandma's house celebrating the new year with yet another twinney shirt with my brother. If you noticed, the shirt that we both wore in 2000 are the same too. My first pair of spectacles were made in this year, making my eyes loose its virginity (as quoted from samuel) due to the first time wearing of spectacles... WHAT'S WITH THE TEETH AND SPECTACLES?

In the flash of the eye, I have lived for a decade. Shifted into my current home @ CCK. Can't imagine I could fit into the same traditional new year costumes for 4 years.... From 1999 to 2003! In this picture, I look as if I haven't woken up from a log sombre... SAD CASE SAD STORY.

This is my favourite picture of the whole lot. I think the composition is very nice and finally, a change in new year costumes. Brand new blue ones :) weeheehee! ONE CUTE FAMILY!

Celebrating CNY @ The Pines. We seem to be celebrating NATIONAL DAY instead of celebrating CNY. Don't you think so?

Aww... Sec 1 already. I felt that air has been pumped into me. I look so damn bloated, like some fat pig who expanded. Gahh.... CNY is ain't good to expand or you'll look terrible in photos!

I guess my site's less laggy now as I changed from a navigation blog to a full page blog(is that what you call it?idk) , so the loading time will be reduced. Yesterday was a blast @ the CNY Celebrations in school!

I took part in the "Interclass Best Dressed Competiton" with Jastine, Emily and Edmund and guess what?

WE WON FIRST PRIZE!

We adopted the theme from the drama 'The Little Nyonya' and we dressed up like the characters to represent our class and walked on stage.

Although I'm 15 but I'm still a kid in my heart. :)

Hey Guys.

Just a short post today. Rather tired and I haven't got the time to load my Harbin Holiday pictures onto photobucket.

Day 2 in school was rather draining, with lessons starting and everything getting so busy.

ARHHH.

I don't know why but I'm in Band 3 this year for English.

Haix. Grades have been dropping since after sec 2. Idk why also.

I was in Band 1 in sec 2, Band 2 in sec 3 and now Band 3. Wow. I visited all the bands. :( no smiles.

Just hope that I can transfer up to Band 2 after the diagnostic test. But if I'm fated to stay then, I have to succumb to fate.

I'm not mocking Band 3 people la. I'm just really not used to it that's all.

Intrestingly, my History and Maths teachers have also changed. Mr Ashley tan teaches me History now and Mr Mike Teo teaches me Maths.

So suay, Mr Teo didn't come for lesson today.

Anyway, I'm drained physically and mentally.

See how long I can keep it up before 'O' Levels.

Anyway after the bulk of my Holiday pictures have been posted, I won't be updating so frequently already.

Will be diverting my time and energy into my studies. (But I'll leave tonight for me to enjoy my last 2 episodes of 'The Little Nyonya'. hehehehehehe)

Where Is Your Manners?

(Ps. I’ll try to keep this post as vulgar free as possible, but forgive me if I use them because this is a post to insult ‘the one’ who is a disgrace to the society by having no manners at all.)

My first day at school has been crashed by a stupid contractor or whatever stupid worker you call it. (Ay, just so you know a worker who has been working on the renovation of the house next to mine.)

This sounds stupid I know, but I just have to blog about this. I feel weird inside if I don’t find an outlet to let my inner feelings out.

The day started very well today, with totally NO lessons in school, just teacher student moments and a talk by Mdm Lee (Not so bad…). Than I was surprised that:

THERE WASN’T ANY HCL!

Thanks to Shao Tao, he said that HCL would end at 4 today and I was like totally sian diao.

But it’s okay. The point is that there wasn’t any HCL today. So I came home straight after school.

As I reached home, there wasn’t anyone at home. Not a single soul. My parents went out with my brother for lunch. Ay, but that’s not the point there. The point is after a tiring (no so tiring) day at school, I decided to sit back on the couch and enjoy the missed episodes of ‘The Little Nyonya’.

As I laid back on the couch and turn on the television, there came a drilling sound from the house next door.

A little bit of background information: This drilling sound was perpetually there everyday since I came back from Beijing. Imagine how much suffering I have been through. Tell me, how am I supposed to study like that?

Anyway, this is not the big problem. I’m used to it already.

So bearing with the noise, I just watched my ‘Little Nyonya’, not listening but reading the subtitles.

Just as my parent’s car was arriving the gate. The contractor’s big fat stupid truck was parked outside the gate.

My parent’s horned him to ask him to shift the vehicle. Like after several horns, he still didn’t come out. I was seriously wondering what he was doing inside the house man.

LAYING HIS GRANDMAMA’S EGGS ARH?!?

So I opened my door and pulled my head across the dividing wall and said: “Excuse me, could you please move your van, my parent’s car wants to come in.” I swear this was the exact words I used when I made my request. Even the words “excuse me” and “please” are used in my sentence.

Than guess what that fella replied me: “Eh, can’t you see I’m moving things inside? Can’t you be patient?”

-roll my eyes-

I could have done more than just rolling my eyes man. DAMN THAT MAN.

All I have to say to him:
Uncle, although I have eyes to see but you think I can see through that wall and see what are you carrying on the other side? The fact that you’re carrying your things does not concern me at all, and it seriously has nothing to do with moving your stupid van. NO LINK?!?! And don’t you have manners? Didn’t your parents teach you? The fact that you parked your stupid lorry outside my gate shows that you’re using my space outside the house. You want to park we let you park. In fact you didn’t even ask me if you could park outside, but you still parked it there. Now when the rightful owner of this plot of land outside my house wants to drive their car in, do I still have to wait for you to slowly move your things, move them until there is no tomorrow than you’re free to moving you van away? And even if you come out a little late, you should rightfully say a word of “sorry” or “coming”, and not rant at a kid (referring to me) saying that you have stupid furniture to move. EXCUSES, TOTAL FULL OF BULLSHIT. All I can say is that you have totally no upbringing AT ALL. Don’t blame it on your parents, blame it upon yourself. No wonder such people of such upbringing can only become workers. SAD CASE SAD STORY. That’s all I can say to these kinds of people who brings disgrace to the society.

Sorry if I have insulted the other workers of the world. My statement only refers to this kind of stupid pimp who crashed my first day of school. Everyone has the freewill to choose what jobs he or she wants to do. Although you may have the right qualifications, but I still think your moral and character upbringing is most important. Who cares if you’re a super star or a doctor? If your attitude towards people around sucks, that makes you a total SUCKER and LOOSER.

Anyway lesson learnt, case closed but I still hate rude people with no upbringing. That’s a fact and you can’t change it.

After this incident that happened today, I came to recall an incident that happened on the 8 of November last year. I almost got knocked down by a car in that incident that time. (Some of you might have heard this story before)

I was going for a chalet at Costa Sands Pasiris when this incident took place. As you know it was during the weekends, the whole place is jam packed, so naturally, it is difficult for us to find a car park lot. We were waiting in the car for over 30 minutes and no car would just budge. Everyone being hungry and listless, my mom just chugged the car to the side of the road (which is illegal). So as we were walking though the car park to get to the chalet, some car further up ahead was leaving. Happy as I was, I ran towards the lot and “booked” it and waited till my mother drove the car over.

As unlucky as my life could get, some moron driver of car number plate SCN9707B, came to the lot and simply reversed into us. HELLO? There were 3 people standing there already, but he simply reversed into the lot. My dad even banged at the bumper but he kept horning and reversing. NO EYES! BLIND MORON. After that moron parked, he came off and uttered some hokkien vulgarities to my dad. He didn’t care about that moron, he simply walked off. (YEAH! Shouldn’t waste time on such people like this. What for scold back? Waste energy, waste time, waste your breath. Treat those words as crap lor. If I were him I’ll simply say “THANK YOU”. Okay. That’s so bitchy.) (insert a sting of bad words here ~ ~ ~ ~ ~, I don’t care what you insert but I know it’s not going to be nice listening to it). Suay enough, my mom wanted to go back to park at that roadside lot, but KUA KUA KUA KUA…. Someone else took it already. -.- Then this made my dad wait for another 30 minutes to find a lot (not illegal parking lot).

When I went home that night, I was thinking and thinking… I formulated many thoughts too but I simply had no time to post about it too. I was tired after I came back and I was going to audition for CSS3 the next day.

So time passed and I slowly forgot about this incident. But somehow, I was fated to post my thoughts on these, not 1, but 2 incidents.

Through this incident, I believe that what goes around comes around: retribution.
Getting abit naggy here but I still have to say it. If you do good, you’ll receive good in return. If you do bad, than wait for bad to return. Don’t you agree with me?

Actually talking about doing good, I have an example to share. It’s not everyday that I have the feel to post a 2000 word “essay” on my blog, with only one picture and all words, so I feel that I would like to share these experiences with you people. So here it goes:

It was during the December holidays last year when I got a ring on the doorbell. It was this young teen and a mentally unsound (I don’t know how to call it la. You know those people who needs to attend a special school due to slow learning capabilities? Yah, referring to that.) Both of them came knocking on the door to ask if I wanted to buy ice cream. The teen explained to me that the money will go to the kid for his schooling and this and that. Before I even had the chance to say no, I was already about to buy it. Maybe it is because I have a soft heart? (Is that what you call “xing ruan”?) I just wanted to help. Then I took out 10 bucks from my wallet and was about to buy the ice cream. Than guess how much the ice cream cost me. It was $16! I was shocked in the beginning but I still gave the money I don’t know why. He told me that the cost of the ice cream is $6 and $10 will go to the boy for his school fees. After they left then I realized that I might have been cheated. But seriously I don’t know. But after doing that, my heart felt at ease, and I felt happy. I don’t know why. But it’s okay la. It’s not that I’m not willing to part with my money, it is just that the money that I have donated might turn out to be the teen’s pocket money. You won’t know what the world is like. Anything can happen. But whatever it is, the teen knows it. DO BAD, RECEIVE BAD. DO GOOD, RECEIVE GOOD.

Let nature take it’s course.

Just a note here that I’m not trying to be PR or anything. I’m just expressing what I feel here. This is my private space to express my thoughts. If you don’t like my comments, than don’t view this post and feel free to press on alt + f4. Anyway, I thought of posting this when I was showering. I just couldn’t keep my feelings inside. I realise that I think most when I shower, that is how I came up with this post.

I don’t want to die just because some stupid worker and a moron driver pissed me off.)

Harbin Holiday Day 1

Hello People!

Sorry skipped yesterday becuase I had some family problems, but it seemed to have settled already. :)

I have not really compiled all the photos for my holiday trip to Harbin because there are a freaking load of 3k pictures and I can’t possibly be posting 3k pictures on my blog or else it will definitely lag the shit out of your computer.

Meanwhile while waiting for me to compile the pictures of the more interesting highlights of my trip, here’s a brief summary on what I did from the 16th Dec 2008 till the 25th Dec 2008.

Let’s Start with Day 0 & Day 1

Singapore to Shanghai

Flight Number: MU 3544
Departed at T3 at 12:55am
I was really surprised that the China Eastern plane was rather spacious and wide. It used to be very lousy but now the service has improved a lot I can say. But it still can never beat Singapore Airlines.
Used the 5 hours + in the plane to sleep (cuz there is no entertainment unlike SQ planes)

Day 1
16th December 2008
Tuesday
Shanghai

We landed at Shanghai Pudong Airport in the wee hours of the morning and was picked up by a tour guide and sent us to the hotel. The hotel was like 1 hour away from the Pudong Airport so we had to set off earlier the next morning to catch the flight for Dalian.
After checking in, we resting for 2 hours than started our own free and easy sightseeing journey. My dad was the tour guide as he has been to Shanghai on business trips many times.

Took a bus down to town than visited Nanjing Street. Didn’t manage to buy anything as we were rushing for time. We had only 1 day in Shanghai and there were many things planned for us to see. The end of Nanjing Street was the Bund. The view was really very very nice. The last time I visited the bund was when I was primary 5. Things have changed a lot. New buildings have been built on a greater scale. NICE.

Went over to pudong and after dinner we went up the Oriental Tower.

p/s: sorry if there are repeated photos (a few I guess). I don't know what's wrong with photobucket. The alignments are all wrong.

Sorry I am unable to finish updating on my Beijing trip.

Anyway, I found it not much of a use updating on some thing that happed a century ago so let's not waste time blogging on such stuff.

Anyway, this is my last post before I bid farewell to you readers. Oops. Don't get me wrong. I'm not leaving blogger, closing my blog or going to die (ps I still have 100 years to live!). I'm leaving for Harbin tomorrow!

I'll be away for about 10 days, so when I'm back, it's CHRISTMAS!

I finally got to meet up with some of my primary school friends today! yesterday? idk. i mean sunday, 14 Nov. (It's late and I'm still blogging)

It has really been so long since I last met them so it's really really great to see them again.

As you can see in the picture, my 3 good pri sch friends (oops ps the other 3 girls are not in the picture cuz we didnt have a chance to take tgt)

We went to westmall to play arcade games (I suddently fell in love with the basketball game man. idk why). Than I went to catch BOLT with them!

BOLT's a really nice show :) worth watching! but it's just that I don't know who miley cirus and john travolta's characters are. T.T

Than after that we went bowling at CSC club.

Overall we really had a fun time :) How I wish I could go for the second gathering nxt week with more ppl, but sadded, I'm overseas. :(

anyway, wanna apologise to samy and yinq for not being able to attend the FG gathering tmr (today?) cuz I have a plane to catch :) have fun with your romantic moments!

Sorry for the lack of updates in the last few days.Finally I dug out some time to update on my BEIJING IMMERSION TRIP.
I'll update bit by bitso as not to spoil the excitement and atmosphere.But I guess there won't be much excitement as many have already updated hell lots on their blogs.
This time I won't be updating on what we do from day 1 to day 8.That's so damn boring (oops no offence)
I'll update on individual stuff (eg. Great Wall, Summer Palace)

This time we only went there for 8 days (so short!)
It is my third time going to Beijing (kindda sian going to the same places but there are new things to see, so it's not so bad)
